Nelson Mandela
Description: This is the first project we did. We were given a square black paper and had to make a radial design out of colored paper. I tried to make mine as colorful and as bright as possible; one that you couldn't forget. My favorite part of the piece is the blue and pink square pieces of paper I glued together to be round, it added a cool feel and made it pop out of the paper more.

Golfer
Description: The assignment was to make an abstract clay figure with positive and negative space. I kind of skipped the negative space part. His golf club broke in the kilning process and did not turn out like I imagined. It was difficult to slip and scorn his arms and legs because they were so small. The hardest part was his feet and getting him to stand up and be steady, so now his feet are really big.

Leaning Tower of People
Description: The assignment was to make a tower out of only cardboard, but I could to glue the pieces together. I did this with Paige and we slipped and slotted a ton of little card board pieces in the shape of people to make a statue completely out of people. We spray painted the two biggest guys that were out base brown and the rest maroon, except the guy at the top that we decided to spray paint Gold.

Steph Curry With the Shot
Description: I had Viani layer on a bunch of small paper like squares that we got wet on my arm and hand while I was making the three shot hand sign because I drain from deep in basketball. This project was fun. I liked putting the squares on my arm and taking them off. I painted the whole thing green with a silver Spartan 'S' on the forearm because am going to MSU next year. However, I should've put more plaster on my arm before I took it off because it was kind of falling apart when I took it off since there were not enough layers.
Medium: Casting and acrylic paint
Mystery Box
Description: The project was to get a box and design it to display yourself. I do not like doing projects about myself so this project was a drag that I procrastinated on a lot. I like the net that went over the whole thing. I put a Rubix Cube in the corner because I can solve it, I included a cross since I am Catholic and a golf ball and a Michigan State logo and the Detroit pro sports teams logos. I also included pictures of my younger self and of my family, which is important to me. The outside of the box is just black with a white question mark because who I am is a mystery, even to me.
Medium: Box, paint and a bunch of random stuff that attempts to define me.

Wire Tree
Description: This tree is made up of the thickest wire I could find because it stuck in the same place the best. This tree is one complete wire, it never stops. I always draw trees with the knot in their trunk, so thats what I did with the wire, which was the hardest part. I couldn't really get it to stand on its own so I hung it from the ceiling.

100 Pieces with a Twist
Description: I had to use exactly 100 of anything to make a sculpture. I made 25 squares of popsicle sticks and hot glued them together as they turned a little every time. It created a cool spiral looking statue. It was too sloppy by the end, which did not make it look very good, but it still ended up ok.

13 Piece Wood Sculpture
Description: I could choose any 13 pieces of wood and use wood glue to glue them together. Mine has really no meaning at all, but I still kind of like what it looks like. I like the round piece that looks like it should be rolling down, but is stuck in the air.
